The Role

We're looking for a creative, digitally savvy Social Media & Content Coordinator to turn the ideas, videos, writing, and real work into content people want to watch, read, and share.
This is a part-time role, roughly 5 to 8 hours per week to start, with room to grow as results and content needs grow. The work is built around outcomes, not hours logged.
The job is content multiplication. You'll take a video, photo, written piece, voice note, book excerpt, or event and find the content hiding inside it. One strong piece of source material might become several Shorts or Reels, a LinkedIn post, quote graphics, captions, or an ongoing campaign. We create the substance; you turn it into media.
Your First 90 Days
You'll support an organization, focused on LinkedIn and short-form video built around career growth and our client's content calendar. Over time, the role can expand into YouTube production support and additional ventures and client accounts.

What You'll Do
- Create and edit social content: posts, short-form video, graphics, clips, captions, and carousels
- Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific pieces
- Pull the strongest moments from longer videos and turn them into Shorts, Reels, and other short-form cuts
- Build and maintain a content calendar that keeps a steady presence without adding work for leadership
- Schedule and publish approved content
- Help run campaigns around a recently launched e-book, including quotes, short videos, career insights, and book content
- Track channel performance and recommend what to do more of, less of, and try next
- Protect the distinct voice and standards of multiple organizations that each have their own unique audience, and good content should sound like the people behind it
What We're Looking For
A degree is not required. Demonstrated ability, creative instinct, judgment, and initiative matter far more. You might be a student, recent grad, early-career marketer, or independent creator who learned by building something yourself.

You:
- Have personally created social content and helped something grow: an account, a channel, a project, or a brand
- Understand why some content stops the scroll and some gets ignored
- Know that LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube each need a different approach
- Write naturally and avoid generic, corporate-sounding copy
- Work well from a loose creative brief and take feedback without losing initiative
- Are organized, dependable, and don't need someone looking over your shoulder
- Use AI and modern creative tools to produce more high-quality work with less manual effort
Big Bonus: Video Editing
Video skills are highly desirable. Ideally you can edit raw footage into polished long-form video, find the best moments, cut Shorts and Reels, add captions, graphics, music, and basic motion, create thumbnails, and understand hooks, pacing, and retention. Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Canva, or similar are all fine. We care more about the quality of your work than the software.
